OUR CELLAR DOOR
The cellar door and winery enjoy spectacular views across Mudgee’s landscape and a visit is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the Mudgee experience. You can have a guided wine tasting, take a stroll on our farm trail and enjoy a platter on the terrace.
You’ll find us on Tinja Lane (named after the historic Lowe property), a short 7km drive from the Mudgee CBD.
Our cellar door is open seven days from 10 am to 4.30 pm for tastings (and 5.00pm for sales).
Our regional tasting platters are available from 11am to 3pm.
OUR GRAZING PLATTERS
When visiting the Cellar Door, we invite you to enjoy the views and ambience over a glass of wine and your choice of grazing platters. Featured across both platters is a range of fresh and local produce from our own gardens and our neighbours.
Extraordinary pork salami, S&S ham on the bone, Rylstone olive oil, Zin House homemade relish and dukkah, marinated Alto olives, High Valley feta, farm-picked organic greens – served with fresh sourdough bread and seasonal fruit from our gardens.
A selection of High Valley cheeses (typically featuring feta, caerphilly, blue cheese, brie, cheddar and/or Mudgee rouge) – served with fresh local bread, Zin House made lavosh and Mudgee hazelnut praline.
To ensure we can provide the best service and experience for those visiting Lowe Wines, we require 48 hours notice in order to cater for groups of 8 people or more. For more details, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
THE FARM TRAIL
The farm trail highlights points of interest across the vineyard, food gardens and farm.
Highlights include the biodynamic compost, rescue donkeys, a wooded picnic area and access to Federation Hill with 360 degree views of Mudgee. The map has on the reverse side a series of stories to follow as you wind your way across the terrain.
Local artist Rachael Flynn was commissioned to illustrate the tour via a map which is available at our cellar door.
